I’m a life-long tinkerer, artist and creative with an unquenchable thirst for the rewards of free artistic expression. I find that metal, particularly heating it, bending it, joining it and melting it to a point where I can form functional objects, is what makes me most happy.
I love to work with iron in a forge. I love to weld and create. A strong mechanical background has blessed me with an eye for quality and a fond appreciation of great design.
If anything keeps me up at night, it’s burning questions…
What can I make next?
What challenge can I take on?
What can I create with my brain and my two hands?
To satisfy those questions I usually paint, draw, design and fabricate just about anything I want. My mediums are metal and fire – but they’re also oil and canvas, pencil and paper, brush and ink.
Mom calls me a “Renaissance Man”. It’s true, I have an old soul which longs for more simple, but rugged times. I’m nostalgic for and absolutely cling to an age when people made things with their hands. I refuse to let it go.
Now – if I need something? I make it. In order to keep my hands busy I’m ready to make things for you. I need to make things. It’s in my fabric. Need it welded, repaired, renewed or created out of thin air? From conception to design to delivery, I’ll handle it and get it done.
